Astros Dorsey to Miss Year: Jimmy Dorsey has to call it a season. The Houston Astros reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Las Vegas Knights and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Dorsey was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 14 months.

This season Dorsey has made 33 relief appearances, recorded 3 saves and compiled a 1-2 won-lost mark and a 4.25 ERA. In pitching 72 innings, he has totaled 54 strikeouts and 11 walks.
