Arizona Whitewashes California, Arndt Winner: An efficient outing for Quentin Arndt usually means a win for the Arizona Diamondbacks and today was no exception. The 23-year-old right-hander held the California Angels to a long line of goose eggs. He struck out 11 and gave up 1 hit in the 8-0 shutout.
