Ariza's Season Could be Over: Javier Ariza will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Ft. Worth starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Ariza was injured while throwing a pitch in the Cattlemen-Patriots clash at The Cattle Pen recently. Doctors said he has a torn labrum and would be out a minimum of 7-8 months.

Thus far this season Ariza has posted a 6-4 record, started 15 games, struck out 65 batters in 78.1 innings and compiled a 4.71 ERA.
