Archer and Herrera Suspended 4 Games for Brawl: Baseball confrontations occasionally get intense and sometimes that tension becomes too much and boils over into more than just words. This time it happened to Honolulu's Dan Archer and Victoria's Eduardo Herrera. The two were the main participants in a fight that cleared the benches. Today both were suspended by the league for 4 games for their aggressive actions.

"I hope things settle down now," the manager of the HarbourCats said later. "There's no reason for us to be locked in a cycle of revenge. We all need to focus on baseball instead."

This year Archer has socked 95 hits in 472 at-bats for a .201 average with 31 home runs. He is getting on base at a .276 pace and his totals also include 67 RBIs and 71 runs scored.

To date this season Herrera has compiled a 5-3 record with a 4.92 ERA in 0 starts.
