Angel Kitties KO Music: The Bethlehem Angel Kitties pulled out all the stops tonight, winning the SL R Championship in a hard-fought series with the Memphis Music.
It was a seesaw affair, but with a 1-0 victory at Kittie Park, Bethlehem lay claim to the franchise's 3rd championship.
"There's no denying we faced a tough opponent," said Rodel Paulino. "But as the old saying goes, 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going,' and that's what we did today."
The champs finished the regular season 57-39 and claimed second place in the Silver Low A.
A victory parade is set to be schedule in Bethlehem in the days to come.
