Message:
Anderson Slams 5 Hits for Chicago: Chicago shortstop Tim Anderson had a day to remember today, 5-for-6 against the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park as the White Sox picked up a 10-4 victory.

"He was patient up there today," Chicago skipper Brian Falkenborg told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Anderson has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."

Tim Anderson singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Matt Allan in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

For the season Anderson is currently batting .300 with 28 home runs and 85 RBIs. In 123 games he has reached base at a .321 rate and scored 80 runs to date.
