5-for-5 Day for Dover: There are moments in a player's career that they will not soon forget.

Chris Dover of the Paris Fleur-de-Lis had one such moment at Monks Stadium today, when he went 5 for 5 at the plate. His hitting heroics weren't enough to pull out the victory, however, and Paris fell to a 9-6 defeat to the Daegu Monks.

"This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time," the 24-year-old second baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "It would have been very special if we had won the game."

Chris Dover singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Wildemar Lat in the 8th.

Dover is presently hitting at a .297 pace with 7 home runs, 23 RBIs and has scored 34 times.
