3-HR Game for Spoelstra: Players don't hit three home runs in a game very often and when they do, it is something to celebrate. After today, Addy Spoelstra can celebrate.

The Bakersfield Nobles designated hitter powered three into the stands at Dodos Ballpark today against the Hialeah Dodos.

"It's rare that you actually try to hit a home run," Spoelstra told reporters after the game. "Most of the time you fail, if you really try to hit one. But today, I was really trying on that last one."

In all, he was 3-for-5 as the Nobles toppled Hialeah by a score of 9-7, knocking in 6 runs and scoring 3 times.

"He is blessed with a natural home run swing," Bakersfield manager Jesús Román said. "He gets the ball up in the air."

Addy Spoelstra hit a solo-shot off Eric Colquhoun in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off André Noël in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Eric Hurt in the 9th.

This year Spoelstra is hitting .271 with 9 home runs.
