3-HR Game for Novitsky: Fans are still buzzing after Niagara Falls whipped the Brooklyn Cyclones by the score of 12-8 today at Nat Bailey Stadium.

Joey Novitsky smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the catcher bashed out 4 hits in 5 at-bats, had 7 RBIs and scored 4 times.

At the postgame press conference, Novitsky said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game.

"Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Novitsky said. "Three is just... wow."

Joey Novitsky hit a three-run home run off P.J. Lowe in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Manuel Cabral in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jimmy Otto in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.

In 14 games Novitsky is hitting .300 this season with 9 hits, 3 home runs, 9 RBIs, 1 walk, .344 OBP and has scored 5 runs.
