3-HR Day for Conway: Chicago White Sox bombardier John Conway set his sights on the stands and blasted three balls over the fence as his club took a 13-5 win over the Colorado Rockies today.

"I guess you could say I was a good guesser today, especially on the last one," Conway told writers in the postgame press room. "I was ahead in the count, so I gambled that I'd get a certain pitch, and got all of it."

For the game, the Chicago first baseman had 4 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 5, and scored 4 runs.

John Conway grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Roger Canepanova in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Steve Jardon in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Corey Story in the 7th.

For the year Conway has hit at a .302 clip with 52 RBIs, 21 home runs and 36 runs scored.
