2500th Hit for Bonifacio: Angel Bonifacio reached the 2500-hit milestone this afternoon at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The 39-year-old Orioles first baseman went 1-for-4 in a losing effort in the Baltimore 7-4 defeat at the hands of the New York Mets.

As far as career numbers Bonifacio has compiled a .298 batting average and collected 2500 hits, 203 home runs and 893 RBIs.
