Mount Hot, Millers Cold: It wasn't easy but the Toronto Canadians made it look that way.

Starter Rich Mount shut out the Pittsburgh Millers despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Toronto Canadians cruised to victory, 9-0. Mount allowed only 8 hits and rang up 9 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win.

"It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."

To date this season Mount is 9-4 with 21 starts and an ERA of 3.47 with 161 strikeouts in 148 innings.
