"There's so much pride in our room and on our roster, anything but a division title wouldn't have been acceptable," said left fielder Wyatt Tait. "In the playoffs we'll just have to take it one day at a time and keep battling."
The Shorebirds this year have battled to a 67-47 mark, which is good for the club's 22nd The Mash Malt Division title.
"I'm extremely proud of my players and look forward to seeing what we can do in the postseason," said manager Norm Downward.
