Conner Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak: Dan Conner has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 34-year-old Lakeland Flying Tigers third baseman extended his streak today to 20 games, going 1-for-5 as Lakeland got the best of the Jacksonville Swordsmen at Joker Marchant Stadium, 4-3.

"Dan has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Flying Tigers manager said.
Dan Conner flied out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, hit a two-run double in the 9th and grounded out in the 11th.

This season Conner is hitting .313 with 67 hits, 7 home runs, 48 RBIs, scored 37 runs and played in 58 games.
