The future appears bright for the Edmonton Eskimo relief ace, who captured the award with 16 saves in 79 relief appearances, 293 strikeouts in 166 innings and a record of 8-5 to go with his 1.52 ERA.
He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Damon Cox of the Riverside Firebolts finished second in voting, while Bob Garc�a of the Fresno Arktos finished third.
