Naples Sweeps Jaguars: The Naples Naturals made quick work of the Recife Jaguars in the R World Series, sweeping them aside to clinch the 8th WBA Rookie League crown in Naturals history.
Naples sealed the series today at Jaguars Ballpark with a 2-0 victory. During the regular season play, the Naturals notched a 107-25 record and wound up in first place in the Intercontinental Baseball League Afro-European Division race.
"I won't say it was easy, because baseball games are rarely easy," said Naples manager . "But I did expect we would have to play a much longer series."
