Hsinchu HS Shock Win Round 4: The Hsinchu HS Shock ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Canuck HS Battlecats 2-1 to win the Round 4.
Hsinchu HS won the series 4-1, capturing the title for the 2nd time.
"We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Hsinchu HS manager Bill Holt. "It's a great feeling."
The champs finished the regular season 26-22 and claimed second place in the Pacific Conference Pan Asia Division.
In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and second baseman Wout Schneider said the Shock have "great fans and they deserve this."
"I am so happy for our city right now," he said.
