Zavier Gonzáles Hurt, Out for Year: The season is finished for Zavier Gonzáles of the Nueva Gerona Daggers. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Daggers reliever suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Villa Tabara Arriba Padres. Team doctors said it would take at least 13-14 months to heal.

Taking a look at this year, Zavier Gonzáles has made 29 relief appearances, recorded 1 save and compiled a 2-0 won-lost mark and a 4.11 ERA. In pitching 50.1 innings, he has totaled 48 strikeouts and 22 walks.
