Year Ends for Lynn Rancourt in Lake Champlain: The doctors have spoken and Lynn Rancourt of the Lake Champlain Monsters didn't like what he heard. The 31-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Rancourt sustained his season-ending injury during the Nebraska Nomads game yesterday at Ballpark of Saint Petersburg. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Lake Champlain medical staff reported Rancourt had a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 15 months.
