Message:
Year Ends for Honorato Pérez in Juan de Herrera: The doctors have spoken and Honorato Pérez of the Juan de Herrera Valkyries didn't like what he heard. The 32-year-old first baseman is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Pérez sustained his season-ending injury during the Veragua Shockers game yesterday at Veragua Grounds. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while being hit by a pitch. Today the Juan de Herrera medical staff reported Pérez had a broken kneecap and would be absent from the lineup for at least 6 months.

Pérez is hitting at a .179 mark this season. His stats show 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has played 62 games for the Valkyries.
