Wolves Win Division Championship: The Rookie League Classic hopes remain strong for the Nahanni Valley Wolves.
The team tonight eliminated the Charlotte Webs with a 7-0 win, to capture the Division Championship 4-2.
"We're rolling now," said Jesús Robles, who was named series MVP. "The pitchers are pitching, hitters are hitting, look out. I expect us to pick our game up to another level in the League Championship."
The standout offensive performance from Robles included a .300 batting average, .462 on-base percentage, 2 home runs, 6 RBI and 5 runs scored.
The Nahanni Valley Wolves will play against the Moss Beach Mosquitos in the next round. Moss Beach won their series against the Eureka Guardians 4 games to 0. The League Championship schedule will be announced after the Division Championship finishes.
