Everything went the way of the Maui Wave, who not only came away with the 4-2 victory over Charleston, but also held García hitless in 4 at-bats to put an end to his 21-game hitting streak.
"It was a good run," García said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won."
Thus far this season García is hitting .349 with 6 home runs, 23 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 73 hits in 209 at-bats and has played in 52 games.
