Trahan Cracks 3 HRs for Charlotte: At Coca-Cola Field today, Stryker Trahan hit homer after homer after homer. But they didn't add up to enough to beat the Buffalo Bisons as the Charlotte Knights went down to defeat, 7-6.
"It was a good game for me, not so good for our team," the Charlotte right fielder said. "I got lucky. I made some good swings on some pitches. We just didn't put up one in the win column."
On his monumental day, he had 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 4 runs, and scored 3 times.
"The third one was totally unexpected," Trahan told reporters after his extraordinary game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get another home run and bang, I got number three."
