Torgeson Goes Cycling: George Torgeson showed off his speed, his power and his plate discipline today at Prince George's Stadium, putting together all facets of his game to hit for the cycle in the Altoona win.

The 23-year-old second baseman went 5-for-5, collecting 2 singles, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to help the Curve top the Bowie Baysox by a score of 9-3. A jubilant Torgeson told reporters afterward that the experience was "unimaginable."

"Seriously, I would have been happy going 1-for-5 with just the double," he said. "So this feels incredible."

For the day, Torgeson finished with 2 RBI and 3 runs scored to go with his 5 hits.

George Torgeson singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Randy Swing in the 9th.
