Top FLO Reliever Honored: At the age of 23, Abner Uribe says he still has a lot to learn about life in Florida State League.

But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Charlotte Stone Crabs reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2023 Florida State League Reliever of the Year Award.

"I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic native said.

For the season, Uribe had 10 saves in 51 relief appearances, which totaled 82.2. He fanned 132 betters, while walking 46 and put up a record of 7-2 to go with his 1.52 ERA.

He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Sean Locante of the Bradenton Marauders finished second in voting, while Aaron Wright of the Charlotte Stone Crabs finished third.
