Tigers-Marlins Trade Announced: Sometimes a change of scenery can be a beneficial to a baseball player. That is the hope in Detroit and Miami as the teams came to an agreement today which sends 24-year old minor league 2B Will Holland and 25-year old minor league 3B Gary Hardy to the Marlins and 29-year old C Cameron Gallagher, 28-year old 3B Corey Seager, and 23-year old minor league RHP Brett Comer to the Tigers. "Only time will tell if this is the right move for everyone," stated the Miami GM.
Miami will retain a portion of Gallagher's remaining contract.

Hardy is currently batting .227 with 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 8 runs scored. He has 25 hits in 110 at-bats.
A look at his current stats shows Gallagher with a .229 average, 12 home runs, 37 RBIs and 27 runs scored. He has played in 81 games.
