Message:
Threshers Dylan Pena to Miss Year: The doctors have spoken and Dylan Pena of the Clearwater Threshers didn't like what he heard. The 20-year-old right fielder is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Pena sustained his season-ending injury during the Fort Lauderdale Pirates game yesterday at Pirate City Complex. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while running the bases. Today the Clearwater medical staff reported Pena had a broken bone in the elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 8-9 months.

On the year Pena is hitting .286 with 14 hits, no home runs, 2 RBIs, .397 OBP and has scored 11 runs.
