Tacoma HS Sweeps Raiders: The Tacoma HS Torchmen made it look easy today as they collected the 2nd HS Title Round championship in club history.
They swept the Randall HS Raiders in straight games, winning the series 3-0. The Torchmen disposed of Randall HS 11-4 in the series finale at Field of the Torchmen.
"They were the better team this year, no doubt about it," said Raiders manager Ray Spencer.
During the regular season, Tacoma HS put up a 25-15 record and finished second in the High School NL Eastern Division.
