Stroud and Bradley Fight, Get Suspended: Yesterday at McCormick Field C.J. Stroud and Austin Bradley got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Asheville Tourists and Rome Braves. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game.

Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Stroud will have to sit out 4 while Bradley would be given a 2-game suspension for their roles in the brawl.

On the season Stroud has a 2-3 record with a 5.40 ERA.

Bradley has worked 12.2 innings in 13 relief appearances thus far this season and picked up 4 saves. He has dished out 10 strikeouts and walked 1 with a 1-1 mark and a 2.13 ERA.
