Stoneman Douglas HS's Hornsby Nets HS Outstanding Pitcher Award: The High School has heralded Brad Hornsby of the Stoneman Douglas HS Eagles as the #1 man on the mound for the 2051 campaign.

This year's Outstanding Pitcher Award winner stood out by running up an impressive 1-1 record, holding opposing hitters to a .235 batting average and posting a 2.44 ERA. The 17-year-old hurler tossed 44.1 innings, gave up 39 hits, fanned 60 and issued 14 walks.

He received 22 first place votes out of a possible 32. Shavar Hannan of the Sulphur HS Golden Tornados finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Louis Berry of the Deer Park HS Falcons finished third with 4 first place votes.
