St. Louis-Philadelphia Deal: Goldschmidt for Harper: After a week of negotiations, the Cardinals and Phillies have come to terms on a deal that will send 35-year old 1B Paul Goldschmidt, 23-year old minor league RHP Alex Brown, 20-year old minor league RHP Andy Webb, and 18-year old minor league 3B Alex Castro to Philadelphia for 30-year old RF Bryce Harper, 26-year old 3B Nick Maton, 30-year old 1B David Bote, and 32-year old LF Chris Taylor.
Philadelphia will retain a portion of Harper's remaining contract.
