Season-Ending Injury for Duaner Marulnda: The doctors have spoken and Duaner Marulnda of the Baracoa Bahia didn't like what he heard. The 24-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Marulnda sustained his season-ending injury during the Philadelphia Stars game yesterday at Spring Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Baracoa medical staff reported Marulnda had a ruptured disc and would be absent from the lineup for at least 7-8 months.
