Salinas Tags Stars for 5 Hits: It was a big day for Felipe Salinas and he brought the Jersey Shore D-Bags along for the ride.

Salinas led his club to a 19-1 victory over the Springfield Stars today at Ballpark at the Shore, smoking Springfield pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The 29-year-old first baseman later called the victory "sweet."

Felipe Salinas singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Jesse Carter in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Mark Loseby in the 8th.

This season Salinas is batting .253 with 19 home runs. He has scored 46 runs and driven in 60.
