Sabato Hits 3 Homers Against Chattanooga: The old superstition that "bad news comes in threes" certainly came true for the Chattanooga Lookouts today.

Birmingham first baseman Aaron Sabato tripled up on the home runs to propel the Barons to the 8-7 win at AT&T Field.

"We had our chances to win the game, but we just didn't come through," Chattanooga manager Julio Garcia said. "Sabato hit the heck out of the ball."

In addition to the homers, Sabato collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats, 5 RBIs and scored 3 runs.

"Easy swings get you home runs," he said after the game. "I kept telling myself not to press. They have to be nice and easy swings."

Aaron Sabato hit a solo-shot off Josh Sharkey in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Josh Sharkey in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, walked in the 10th, walked in the 12th and hit a three-run home run off Kent Decker in the 13th.

For the season Sabato has produced 69 hits in 291 at-bats for a .237 average with 15 home runs and gotten on base at a .295 clip.
