Message:
Sánchez on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Washington: Juan Sánchez was sizzling at the plate today. The Milwaukee left fielder blistered the Washington Nationals for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but couldn't prevent his club from falling to a 2-1 defeat.

"Sánchez was too tough to get out today," Nationals skipper Dave Serrano said in a postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too. But hey, I don't mind if every game somebody gets 5 hits off us, as long as we win."

Juan Sánchez singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.

In 46 games this season Sánchez is batting .287 with 49 hits and 5 home runs. He has scored 29 runs and driven in 15.
