New York will get 31-year old LF Danny Hitchcock, 34-year old RHP Ricky Mast, and a 7th round draft pick with Kansas City receiving 34-year old LHP Tom Storti in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal.
