Royals Rico to Miss Year: Solomon Rico has to call it a season. The Burlington Royals reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Kingsport Mets and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Rico was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 11 months.
