The catcher for the West Morris Wolfpack hit the milestone today against the Deer Creek Demolition, helping his club to a narrow 7-6 victory. Rodríguez finished with a 5-for-5 line at the plate.
"Rodríguez was a tough out today," Deer Creek manager Pierre Hamon told the press in the postgame interview. "If it weren't for him, I think we had this one."
Santiago Rodríguez singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
So far this year in 84 games Rodríguez is hitting .351 with 23 home runs, 112 RBIs and 78 runs scored.
