Rockies, Mariners Close Deal: A trade between Colorado and Seattle was made official this morning. The Rockies have sent 34-year old RHP Jordan Walden to the Mariners in exchange for 22-year old minor league RHP Nolan Harrison and 20-year old minor league RHP Cade Chambers.
Colorado will retain a portion of Walden's remaining contract.
So far this year Walden has nailed down no saves. His won-lost record is 3-1 with a 3.96 ERA.
