Reliever of the Year Award Goes to Waddell: At the young age of only 25, Tyler Waddell has been named the Eastern League Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2023.

The future appears bright for the Erie SeaWolves relief ace, who captured the award with 33 saves in 51 relief appearances, 49 strikeouts in 56.1 innings and a record of 4-3 to go with his 1.28 ERA.

He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Cole Thompson of the Bowie Baysox finished second in voting, while Roger Cameron of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats finished third.
