Today the Eastern Conference recognized his spectacular contribution, naming him the Pitcher of the Month for June.
He made 13 relief appearances and compiled 11 saves in 14 innings with 21 strikeouts and a 1.93 ERA.
So far this year Okada has 23 saves in 28 relief appearances with a 2-2 mark and 2.96 ERA.
