Reds Deal to Clowns for Cortes: The Baseball News Network is reporting that the Reds and Clowns have consummated a trade. Indianapolis will receive $1 in cash in a swap for 33-year old RHP Jose Cortes and $500,000 in cash. A league analyst called the trade a "fairly even transaction."
Indianapolis will retain a portion of Cortes's remaining contract.
