Rangers-Royals Trade: Hebert for Bell: You can focus on the negatives after being traded to a new team -- finding a new place to stay, leaving teammates and friends, having to start anew -- but one player hopes to focus on the positives. "It means I'm wanted somewhere. At least one team sees potential in me." Those were the comments heard after the Texas Rangers came to an agreement to deal 27-year old minor league LF Seth Hebert, 26-year old minor league RHP Fred Hershberger, and $1 in cash to the Kansas City Royals for 29-year old RHP Danny Bell earlier today. The deal is expected to be formally announced later this evening.

Kansas City will retain a portion of Bell's remaining contract.

His all-time numbers show Hebert has compiled a .251 batting average and collected 92 hits, 9 home runs and 49 RBIs.

This season Bell has earned 0 saves, tossed 16 innings, made 9 relief appearances, fanned 15 hitters and posted an ERA of 3.38. Teams are hitting .220 against him.
