Prospectors Win Round 2: The Deadwood Prospectors have eliminated the Minneapolis Revolution and are off to the Round 3.
Deadwood won the final game by a 7-3 score and thus clinched the series 4-2.
"We think this is our year, but we're taking it one game at a time," said Dan Campbell, who was named series MVP.
For the series, Campbell hit .429 with a .429 on-base percentage. He drove in 4 RBI and scored 2 runs.
The Deadwood Prospectors will play against the North Side Bootleggers in the next round. North Side won their series against the Augusta Minutemen 4 games to 2. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
