Postseason Bid Ends for Syracuse: It wasn't meant to be for the Syracuse Chiefs this year. Despite a tough battle, they were eliminated from playoff contention today.
"It is a bad feeling," said Chiefs reliever Robbie Bowser. "Once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen. But you've gotta get in there first, and we weren't able to do that."
Syracuse hasn't yet made it to the postseason. The team has now missed qualifying for the postseason in each of their 12 seasons in the IL.
