Pérez Goes on Rampage Against Kings: The Kansas City Kings might think twice next time about pitching to Germán Pérez.
At The Throne Room today, the Manchester Foxes right fielder burned Kansas City pitching, going 5-for-5 in a 15-6 Manchester triumph.
"When he's on his game," Manchester skipper Josh Baker told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded."
Germán Pérez singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Donald Kennedy in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Vicente López in the 9th.
This year Pérez is hitting .299 with 15 home runs and 62 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .383 clip and scored 63 runs.
