Message:
Memphis Blanks Storm Chasers, Anderson at His Best: The Omaha Storm Chasers manager was philosophical in the clubhouse following a shutout loss to the Memphis Redbirds. The Storm Chasers were overpowered by Memphis starter Matt Anderson, who hurled his club to victory, 13-0.

"It was just one of those games -- shake it off and do better next time," Bo Porter said.

Over 9 innings, Anderson blanked Omaha on 5 hits with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts.

"I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs because they were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," Anderson said.

"I set them up, where if they chased one breaking ball, they were going to chase another one."

This year Anderson has 12 wins and 5 losses and a 4.02 ERA.
