McMahon Twirls 8-0 Shutout: Chris McMahon of the Springfield Cardinals humiliated the Northwest Arkansas Naturals at Hammons Field today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 4 hits.
"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Northwest Arkansas manager Matt Riser, after the game.
McMahon whiffed 5 and walked 0 in the 8-0 win.
"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," McMahon said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
So far this season McMahon has a record of 9-12 with 107 strikeouts and 44 walks in 149 innings and a 4.17 ERA.
