Martí and Santos Brawl, League Suspends Them: Juan Andrés Martí of the Bakersfield Nobles and José Santos of the Port Huron Blitzkrieg will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 5 and 3 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Nobles-Blitzkrieg game at Jerome Grounds.

Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Martí and Santos will begin serving them soon.

Martí is batting .529 with 0 home runs and 3 RBIs this season.

This year Santos has pitched 44.1 innings over 24 relief appearances, picking up no saves and held opponents to a .299 average. Santos has a 1-2 record with a 8.12 ERA and 29 strikeouts.
