Mark Injured, Day-to-Day: The Texas Rangers said it will be up to left fielder Matt Mark whether he plays or not. He suffered a day-to-day injury in yesterday's game against the San Francisco Giants and could be missing a few games. Mark was hurt while making a defensive play and sustained a sprained thumb. Team doctors told him it could up to 4 weeks before he heals completely.

Mark is presently hitting at a .349 pace with 4 home runs, 36 RBIs and has scored 34 times.
